CIFM / interzum guangzhou 2015 to offer more opportunities with larger space

Growing international participation to attract wide attention

Guangzhou, China / 4 July 2014

Furniture production manufacturers and suppliers who are holding their breath hoping to get a coveted spot at the annual CIFM / interzum guangzhou may now heave a sigh of relief as show organizers Koelnmesse and the China Foreign Trade Centre (Group) announced recently the availability of more exhibition space for next year.

As Asia’s leading woodworking machinery, furniture production and interior design trade fair, the over-subscribed event sees a long waitlist and existing exhibitors requesting for bigger booth spaces every year. To ease the demand, a new hall has been confirmed, boosting the total area to span 140,000 square-meters from the usual 130,000 square-meters for the last three years.

With the addition of Hall 12.1, CIFM / interzum guangzhou 2015 is expected to draw over 1,200 exhibiting companies, spelling good news for those who have been unable to participate in the past due to space limitations. At the same time, more brands will have the opportunity to increase their representation at the event.

Being an important platform for foreign manufacturers to connect with buyers in China, overseas exhibitor participation, especially country and regional pavilions, has always been one of the major attention grabbers of the event. With still about nine more months to go before show opening, active response from international group organizers has been registered with a list of eight confirmed pavilions from the American Hardwood Export Council, Germany, Italy, Spain, Taiwan, Turkey, the US/Canada, as well as Canada Wood.

Even with the expansion, booth spaces are expected to sell fast with more than 70 percent of the exhibitors in the 2014 edition already sign up for their participation for 2015.

The next CIFM / interzum guangzhou will run from March 28-April 1, 2015 alongside the China International Furniture Fair. Visitor online pre-registration for the event has kick-started.
